Aziza Saliev presents oil paintings featuring bright colors that showcase her iconic disproportionate body forms that display human emotions and relationships. Aziza’s works are influenced by the Iranian, Russian, Turkish and Uzbek cultures and by the works of the artists as Klimt, Monet and Van Gogh. This results in the traditional flowery designs and stroke-like patterns. In her works she likes to include hidden messages that make the viewers take their time to contemplate and to find their own understanding and perception of the painting. Aziza’s works are featured at the Parklane Gallery at Kirkland, WA and at other venues.
